Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases made on InloveApp at https://inloveapp.com and in the InloveApp mobile applications (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
1. What you can buy
The Service offers paid features that may include: premium or "Pro" plans that unlock additional functionality for a fixed period or on a recurring basis; packs of virtual credits ("Credits"); and features paid for with Credits, such as message packages, Spotlight visibility, an ad-free experience, a verified badge and virtual gifts. The exact features, prices, billing periods and payment methods available to you are shown in the Service before you confirm a purchase.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider or app store named at checkout, for example Paddle, PayPal, Stripe, Google Play or the Apple App Store. Purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are subject to the refund rules of those stores and refund requests for such purchases must be made to the store; we cannot refund app-store purchases directly.
2. Cancelling a subscription or recurring plan
You can cancel a recurring plan at any time. Depending on how you purchased it, cancel through your account settings or the Upgrades or Balance section of the Service, through the link in your purchase confirmation email from the payment provider, or through the app store where you bought it. Cancellation stops future renewals. It takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to the paid features until that date. Cancelling does not by itself entitle you to a refund of the current period.
Closing or deactivating your account does not automatically cancel a plan billed through an app store. Please cancel that plan with the store as well, or you may continue to be charged.
3. Refunds for subscriptions and unused periods
Subscription and plan fees are charged in advance for each billing period. Because the paid features are made available to you immediately, we do not generally refund the remaining part of a billing period once it has started, including where you cancel, stop using the Service, or your account is terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service.
We will consider a refund of a subscription or plan payment in the following situations:
• you were charged for a renewal after you had cancelled in accordance with section 2, and the cancellation was recorded before the renewal date;
• you were charged twice for the same period, or charged an amount different from the price shown to you at checkout;
• the paid features were not delivered or were unavailable for a substantial part of the billing period because of a fault on our side that we could not resolve; or
• a refund is required by the consumer-protection law that applies to you.
4. Refunds for Credits and Credit packs
Credits are delivered to your balance immediately after purchase. Credits that have already been spent on a feature, gift or upgrade have been consumed and are not refundable, because the feature was delivered at the moment they were spent. Credits granted free of charge as a registration, referral, promotional or other bonus have no cash value and are never refundable.
As our own policy, we will consider a refund of a purchased Credit pack where the Credits have not been spent and the request is made within 14 days of purchase, and in the situations listed in sections 5 to 7 below. This 14-day period is in addition to, and does not replace or shorten, any statutory right you have under applicable consumer-protection law (see section 11). Where a refund of a Credit pack is approved, the corresponding Credits are removed from your balance. If part of the pack has been spent, any refund will be reduced in proportion to the Credits used.
5. Duplicate, incorrect or mistaken charges
If you believe you have been charged twice for the same purchase, charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not buy, contact us as soon as possible and, as our policy for handling billing queries, within 60 days of the charge. This 60-day period does not limit any longer period available to you under applicable consumer-protection law or the rules of your payment provider. Once we have verified the error with the payment provider, we will refund the duplicate or incorrect amount in full to the original payment method.
6. Unauthorised transactions
If a purchase was made on your account or with your payment method without your authorisation, tell us immediately through the Support page and also contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider. We take unauthorised use seriously and will investigate. We may temporarily restrict the account concerned and may ask you for information to confirm your identity and ownership of the payment method. Where we confirm that a transaction was unauthorised, we will refund it and remove any Credits or features that were obtained through it.
7. Technical and payment errors
If you paid for a plan, Credits or a feature and it was not delivered to your account because of a technical fault, contact us with the details of the purchase. Our first step will normally be to deliver what you paid for. If we are unable to do so within a reasonable time, we will refund the purchase.
8. How to request a refund
Submit refund requests through the https://inloveapp.com/support page, or through the in-app support option. To help us locate and verify your purchase quickly, please include:
• the username and the email address of the account concerned;
• the date of the purchase and the amount charged;
• the order, transaction, invoice or receipt number from the payment provider or app store, where available;
• the payment method used (for example card, PayPal, Google Play or Apple App Store);
• what you purchased (plan, Credit pack or feature); and
• the reason for your request and any supporting information, such as screenshots of an error.
Requests that do not identify the purchase may be delayed until we receive the missing information.
9. When a refund may be refused
We may refuse a refund request, to the extent permitted by law, where:
• the Credits or the paid features have already been used or consumed;
• the request concerns a change of mind after the paid features have been delivered, outside any period referred to in section 4 or any statutory withdrawal period that applies to you;
• the purchase was made through an app store, in which case the request must be made to that store;
• the account concerned has been suspended or terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service, including fraud, abuse or misuse of payment, Credit or referral mechanisms;
• the request is made more than 60 days after the charge, unless the law gives you a longer period;
• we identify a pattern of repeated purchase-and-refund requests that indicates abuse of this policy; or
• you have initiated a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider for the same charge, in which case the matter will be resolved through that dispute process.
If we refuse a request, we will tell you why.
10. Processing of refunds
We aim to review every refund request and reply within 5 business days of receiving all the information we need. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through the payment provider that processed the purchase. Once we have issued a refund, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank, card issuer or payment provider and is typically 5 to 10 business days. Refunds are made in the currency and amount originally charged; we are not responsible for differences caused by exchange-rate changes or fees applied by your bank.
When a refund is approved, the plan, Credits or features that were paid for are removed from your account, and any content or benefits obtained with them may be withdrawn.
11. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or services, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. By purchasing a plan, Credits or a feature that is made available to you immediately, you request and consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has started or the content has been consumed. Where the law in your country gives you additional or different rights, including rights to a remedy where the Service is faulty, those rights are not affected by this policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
